Fairlawn, OH — Montrose Ford in Fairlawn together with the Ford Motor Company’s “Drive 4UR School” Program recently raised nearly $6,000 for the Revere and Firestone High School band programs.
The event, held at Montrose Ford in Fairlawn on Saturday, May 3rd, awarded $20 to the high school programs for every qualified driver who took a test drive of one of the brand new 2015 model year Ford vehicles. 300 drivers participated in the event at Montrose Ford, raising much needed funds for both schools band programs.
The Ford Drive 4UR School program allows the Ford Motor Company and local dealerships to become actively involved within the community, offering no-pressure test drives of the latest Ford products and exposing consumers to vehicles that may be outside of their familiarity. By test driving the Ford products, consumers are able to experience the latest technologies and efforts being made by Ford for consideration in their next vehicle purchase.
Montrose Ford in Fairlawn is proud to support the fundraising efforts of area high schools such as Firestone and Revere, and has partnered with several Akron area schools over the past four years of the Ford Drive 4UR School Program.
“When given the opportunity to make a real difference in our commuity, ” stated Montrose Community Relations Manager John Allensworth, “and when that opportunity brings our dealership close to the heart and soul of the communities we serve – how can it get any better? It’s a win/win/win for our schools, Ford Motor Company, and for us here at Montrose. We are proud of our participation, made possible by the Ford Motor Company and our community partners.”
